Almost Friday! I love short work weeks… but who doesn’t?
Last night, I had dinner with my family at the Buckhead Diner. My sister and nephew are in town from PA, so of course I was really excited to see them. We all love the diner, so that was an easy choice.
It’s a total throw-back and makes you feel like you’re on a cruise ship… not your typical diner food, though!

My mom and I always share a salad to start…
Mesclun greens and goat cheese fritters with apples, walnuts, and raspberry vinaigrette:

The goat cheese fritters are so good… they (we?) fry everything in the South!
I had the grilled mahi mahi tostada with white cheddar stone ground grits, guac, and pasilla chile sauce. It never fails me! It’s important to get a little bit from each layer onto the fork to get all of the flavors at once.

Mom and Colin… he’s 9 weeks now and says “agu.” Not sure what that means!

Which chin do you like better? So cute!

If you live in Atlanta- Deka Athletics in Buckhead is having a trunk sale through Saturday. I had never been there before today, but my boss gave me a gift card for my birthday (It’s on Saturday!) and urged me to go today.
I only had 10 minutes before yoga, but I got a good look and they had a bunch of really nice workout stuff. HUGE racks of clothing at 50% off.

I got a little matchy matchy here- all Puma- navy yoga capris, a really comfy shirt and a matching sports bra. The capris were $25, the shirt was $17.50 and the sports bra was $19… not bad!
What, doesn’t everyone stand in front of the mirror and take pictures of themself?

Are you into workout clothing? I used to just wear cotton t-shirts and whatever shorts I could find, but I’m starting to appreciate nicer materials! I like TJ Maxx for nice, inexpensive workout clothes.
Snooki time!

I’ve never been to Buckhead Diner or Deka Athletics. I need to make a list of Atlanta things to try out.
I’ve never been to Buckhead Diner! I’ve always heard about it since I was a little kid. I need to go sometime soon!! Colin is super adorable!!
I love buckhead diner! (and Deka athletics…) Though, I have a major major problem of spending WAY too much money at Deka.
